Highly moisturising
The best soaps for dry skin
Moisturising soap offers dry, chapped and stressed skin valuable support in its regeneration, as it is rich in natural nourishing oils. You’ll feel the difference!
A distinctive feature of Viennese soap is its high level of superfatting, ranging from 9 to 15 per cent. Thanks to the handmade production process and gentle stirring, the result is soap that not only produces a creamy lather and has a pleasant fragrance, but also offers exceptional skin-care benefits.
What does ‘superfatting’ mean?
Superfatting describes how much nourishing oil remains in the soap after the manufacturing process – the higher this value, the gentler and more nourishing the soap is on the skin.
Unlike conventional soaps and liquid soaps, which often contain harsh ingredients that can damage the skin’s barrier, moisturising soaps supply the skin with valuable nutrients even whilst you’re washing.
Skin that is particularly sensitive, dry or severely stressed by frequent washing benefits from this intensive care.
Which soap is best for dry skin?
In general, all Wiener Seife soaps are suitable for dry skin. Soaps containing ingredients such as olive oil, cocoa butter, apricot kernel oil, almond oil or whey are particularly recommended, as these provide intensive care.
In this category, you’ll find soaps with a particularly high superfat content of 13% to 15%, which provide exceptional moisture and protection.
