Driven by an unshakeable conviction to carry on the legacy of Mr Weiss, the last soap maker from Stadlau, this native of Vorarlberg made Vienna her new home in 2006. Since then, she has led the company with courage, bringing the Viennese soap-making tradition to the world through her iconic products.
Soap is her passion, and her team knows that the focus is always on the well-being of the customers, not that of the boss. With a steady hand, she steers the fortunes of the workshop and always keeps a close eye on the fragrant details.
Christoph Hegglin
Soap maker
With tireless passion, he conjures up one bar of soap after another – and it seems as though every new creation is even better than the last. Professionally, the Swiss-born Hegglin moved to Vienna in 2010 to support Sonja Baldauf as a soap maker. Privately, he has been by her side for over two decades as they share their lives together. His immeasurable dedication is of inestimable value to the company.

Quality Management
Caroline Baldauf is the founder of Wiener Seife Schweiz GmbH and, since October 2017, has been running a charming boutique in the heart of Switzerland – in keeping with the flair of the main shop in Vienna. She devotes herself to her role with great enthusiasm and care, contributing to the further development of the family business and inspiring Swiss customers with a passion for Wiener Seife. She also actively supports the team at the Wiener Seife factory in the areas of GMP and quality management to ensure high production standards.
Our production team
The skilled hands of our staff in the soap-cutting and packaging departments ensure that every bar of soap is presented to its best advantage. Thanks to them, we are able to present our soaps in attractive shapes and lovingly designed packaging. They appreciate the pleasant atmosphere and the soothing scent in the workshop, which changes daily and accompanies them as they work.
