Friedrich Weiss produced soap in Stadlau, in Vienna’s 22nd district, right up until the early years of this century. What he left behind were not records for posterity, but soaps that one recognised the moment one held them in one’s hands. Formulas he had refined over decades, as distinctive as a handwritten signature. These four soaps are our interpretation of his classics: using the same basic recipes, with fragrances that come as close to the original as is possible today. A tribute, in soap.
